Warning! This Game is in VERY EARLY DEVELOPMENT, this article may not be 100% accurate.
This is an Article on Parafolk.
Parafolk: What are they and what do they look like?
What are Parafolk?
Parafolk are the main characters of the game Paralives. Players control their actions like in The Sims.
There isn’t much information on them right now, but this wiki article will talk about what is known so far.
What do Parafolk look like?
Parafolk are still in the early stages of development, so there is no visual as of yet. However, Alex Massé (founder and head developer of Paralives) has mentioned that some of the inspiration for the game’s art style comes from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and the works of game developer Inasa Fujio.

How customizable are Parafolk?
On October 10, 2019, Alex Massé tweeted out this video of him messing around with customization tools in Untitled Goose Game developed by House House to gather inspiration and test possible tools for customizing Parafolk in the game’s future character creator, Paramaker (also known as PAM). The video demonstrates the use of sliders and push/pull tools to change the length, width, and hight of parts of the goose’s body. However, Alex does state that Parafolk will have a lot more customization options.
Can potential future players make suggestions about their visions for Parafolk?
No need to! Stated by Roxane in this Discord Message, they are already working on the parafolk and have an idea already, this means that while technically ideas for art-styles about parafolk are fine, it is more constructive and beneficial to for example suggest what Clothing Parafolk could wear.
Anything Else about Parafolk confirmed?
Yes, there are a few things.
First things first, it has been confirmed by a developer that they were currently working on the male faces – they may have finished from the time of the message however we now know that they are currently working on the Parafolk themselves, and on February 13th, 2020 it was confirmed by Roxane at the time she was sculpting the Parafolks Butt on a tweet, however this may hint that is the upper or lower part could be done, however that part is only Speculation and is not confirmed unlike the butt, and while it is quite humorous (not really), this is some viable information.
Alex Massé, Founder of Paralives has also randomly tweeted the room used in the PAM (Paramaker) Video, so this may hint to something big coming soon however that is also just Speculation and not confirmed.
There are also some other game-play or art-style features about Parafolk that are confirmed.
