Generally, when one speaks of traits, one thinks of the characters, but the worlds should also have traits that condition the way of living in them.
What could be the traits for a world?
According to nature, it could be desert, humid, rainy, windy, sunny, its land could be fertile for crops.
According to those who usually live there could be youthful, noisy, rural, quiet, to work, to study, ….
If we put a night bar in a world where only elderly people or people who like tranquility live then our business will not be as successful and even the neighbors could complain about our place
It would be best to put a farm in a rural world where people wake up early with the first rays of the sun and start working on their land.
The idea is that it is not the same to live in one world or another, even the same task can be easier or more difficult depending on where you live and how are the people who live in that neighborhood.
Sounds great, but I think these things should just be in the base game and not as world traits, as those are just the world attributes that they are expected to have.
Instead it should work like the House Traits on the sims 4, where you were able to pick traits and it either gave a positive or a negative effect, for example Quake Area made the house more prone to earthquakes and Cozy made it where it was more comfortable to be inside and gave a positive emotion effect, traits like these would work very well for worlds as well.
When Create-A-World comes out, being able to change the World Attributes as you mentioned here, would be very cool as well!
It would be good if the different districts also had a trait that characterizes them and changes the way the characters move in that area.
I think the price of the lots should be dynamic according to the lifestyle of your neighbors and the district.
Buying a lot surrounded by mansions is not the same as buying one in the middle of nowhere.
If you want to live among the rich and live like them, you should also pay like them. In the same way if a house in the neighborhood is abandoned, the price decreases and even the likelihood of thieves entering increases.
