Trait System Idea
When it comes to other life simulation games the personality system has always been shallow. My idea is that there will be bars for each different core personality trait (are they dirty or clean, outgoing or shy, creative or logical, fun or serious, Happy or gloomy, etc) and at each end of the bar, there are spaces to choose a trait. For example, if the slider on the creative bar is close to creativity, you can choose what is their main outlet for their creativity (music, writing, art). The creative slide is full and can affect all creative areas but whichever trait you’ve chosen is their main outlet. There can also be other applications. If the slider is close to clean you can choose a trait as to why they’re so clean. Do they have OCD? Are they a germaphobe? What do you guys think?
