I’ve got quite a lot of ideas involving sliders and tick boxes to create depth of personality and identity.
First, for sexuality, tick boxes for:
And then after chosen, say for…
Bisexual- more attracted too…
Pansexual- more attracted too…
(Sorry that looks weird I tried my best lmao you get my point- you’d select in the middle of the triangle)
Straight- are they curious? ◻️
Then, gender identity- tick boxes for male, female, or non-binary.
Choice of pronouns too
Skill sliders- eg.
Art: not good |——————| good
Cooking: not good |——————| good
Writing: not good |——————| good
Maths: not good |——————| good
(This could also be determined by childhood experiences and could be improved)
I’d love the options for gender and sexuality, but I don’t like that personality system very much. But I think that skill system is a good thing. Maybe it influences the time a para needs to learn a skill. E.g. a para with a high creativity learns writing faster than a para with a low creativity. And the more creative skills a „low creativity para“ learns, the faster he gets (so his creativity increases) … I‘d actually love it! Everyone has a natural talent for something. 🙂

I LOVE this idea so much! This is something I’d be definitely hoping for in a character creation for a life simulator.
I’d also love to see simple things like being able to pick their favourite colour or music genre like you could in Sims 3.
I do also like the idea to pick sexuality (I wish Sims had that because in it I can make my elderly female sim break up a gay marriage with young adults and marry one of the dudes like it’s nothing).
