Qustions/Recommendations
May 21, 2020 at 5:58 amHere are just some questions and recommendations I have about the games. I’ll put them in categories for an easier read.
Parafolk:
Will their height be genetic? Two tall parents will have tall kids, and if so will their grandparents’ height factor in?
The style we saw in the videos had a blackout line which is confirmed to be toggleable, and will there be a reveal for paras without the blackline? I love how Maggie looked, I’m just wondering if a style more like her loft video will be shown or included in-game.
How will the genetics be? Will, there be recessive genes, or if one parent has brown eyes and the other has blue, will the kids only get brown? Side note, I loved how there were natural color and unnatural coloring in the paramaker video.
Will paramaker change in the future? Like, having it switch to a different screen? Personally, I don’t really care. Just wondering.
I saw how there were hair physics, which I love. When paras get out of the shower will their hair look wet or have wet dripping off?
Excellent work with paras so far! I love them 🙂
Parapets:
I know base game cats and dogs(and horses?) were confirmed, but will there be a future expansion for farm and small animals? I would love for that.
Will parapets’ bellies get bigger during pregnancy? That level of realism would be so cute.
More on parapet babies, will young pups/kits nurse from their moms? That would be super cute. Also, would there be an interaction to snuggle in a pet bed? I loved that interaction.
Will there be professions like vets and shelters? I wouldn’t mind rabbit holes for vet career, but only an animal shelter/shop would be really cool.
Gameplay/Interactions:
Interactions between toddlers really had me happy in Sims 4, and I loved having pets and toddlers play/snuggle together too. Will there be such gameplay in Paralives?
Woohooing in the shower is so convenient in Sims3, since it made social, fun, and hygiene all go up. I would love to see that in Parafolks, and also what are you thinking of calling woohooing?
What will multitasking be like in Parafolks? I would love to have a para eat and read at the same time, or watch TV and read at the same time. I don’t know if that’s even possible but I love having my characters multitask since it really makes a game so much easier.
Kinda a weird one, but will paras have their mood increased at work? Like at 12 pm, they would be eating lunch and have their hunger increased. Maybe if they had packed lunch it would be free, but if they haven’t they would charge you 10 paradimes?
Last one: What will the money be called? I forget if this was already announced, so sorry if it was.
These are just questions and recommendations! I appreciate everything Paralives have done and are so proud of this team. They have been doing such an amazing job, and I’m so proud!

They are currently thinking of having a simple genetics system, but nothing is confirmed as of yet, and the currency will be called “Paradimes”, there was a Patreon poll on it in November
.Unfortunately, we don’t have the answer to the rest of these questions yet, the game is still in very early development. Sorry!

I love these ideas. I saw in The Sims Mobile that there’s a bathtub big enough for two and there’s an option to take a romantic bath with another sim and the bathtub then fills with rose petals. It would be great to have that option and add woohoo (or whatever we’re calling it) in Paralives.
