I had and idea of two optional features for the world of paralives, having a fully open world, or a sectioned world. one of the flaws in sims 3 open world was so many big areas opened all a once, some areas my sims went to frequently and some areas my sims barely, or never visited so what was the point of having all those areas open all at once? It was fine when I only had the base game, but with expansions my game became almost unplayable.

I tried to avoid using create a style, and sending my sims out to far because my game was just to slow with a big open world with so many different things happening all at once, and expansions packs intalled was to much for my computer. I think maybe having an optional feature like sectioned areas or sectioning areas you want open in the world is good, for players like me who have conerns about game performance with only full open world as an option, and players who want full open world experience can still have that option that way you can kinda accommodate everybody, I feel like this could maybe help minumize some performance issues the sims 3 had later on. You had all this gameplay that couldn’t really be use because the game became so unbearably slow or crashed all the time, even now it’s recommended you don’t install more than 3 packs at once, but I perfectly understand that it just isn’t possible, and would be to complex to impliment just something to think about, but I just wanted to share this idea I don’t think I explained it as well as I could have so bare with me someone else could explan this better. maybe it’s something they could have in a future update for the game after it’s released this is just my personal opinon.

I know that paralives isn’t sims 3 I just don’t want such a great game to suffer the same problems it had I respect the developers, and the vision they have for this game the best of luck to alex, and the paralives team to making a super awesome game!

I would like a mix between Sims 3 and Sims 4, as there would be different neighborhoods in one world, and only the one you are in would be open world, and you would have to travel to other neighborhoods. It could cut down on lag and make it more playable.

@ThatGirl2020 you bring up a lot of good points. I like the idea of each open world separated by a loading screen.

Alex has said that he’s trying to optimize the game so it’ll run well on all types of computers, so hopefully that’ll work out. I assume Paralives will be using a different engine than the sims 3 so who knows, maybe the issues that game had won’t be a problem here. The world might also be smaller than the one in the sims 3.

I’m not saying your worries aren’t valid, but I think we should see how the world actually works. For all we know, it’ll be completely different from how it was in the sims game and there won’t be any need for sectioned off parts of the world.

@thatgirl2020 I understand your concern . But If you are a gamer, and there is a game you love to play..it is our own responsibility to have the equipment that give us the experience we want. It has always been the sims game that made me by and update my PCer…nothing else! It was my own problem if i wanted a better quality of the game, ..not the developers! There job is to guarantee that the game works! emm hmmGrin

Good point you have here. Unfortunately, not everyone has that much budget for a good PC upgrade. If the developers do choose to give us the option as mentioned above, it would be a win-win either way. Everyone can happily play the game with their preferences. However, if this option will be considered by the developers, I don’t think it will be included in the initial release. It might be incorporated as a base game update.
