I Don’t mean like a big online server, I mean something like stardew valley. You can have your own world and play by yourself but if you’d like to invite your friends you can! They could have their own house in that world and have their own family.
I Love how stardew valleys multiplayer option works and think itd be so fun to play a life simulation with just my friends.
does anyone else think this would be fun? I’ve wanted something like this for a life simulation for decade! ?

Not Paralives related but the SimSync multiplayer mod for ts4 let’s you play the same household, up to 8 players I think. I found it super glitchy but I had fun, the one time I tried it. Thought I’d bring it up since you’ve been looking so long!

As sweet chili mentioned above this type of multiplayer mod from sims where we can visit our friends world and travel and socialize with them would be really nice. And a way we could communicate with them that would be fun, would be using the text message feature on paras phones to message our friends (aka para) during gameplay.
If we could get multiplayer in a mod form (and if it this is even possible) would you want to see a public world potentially where it’s somewhat like discord? Where different paras can come and play? Like anyone could set up different themed worlds like fantasy, historical etc. But you’d have a code to join.

That’s not exactly what SimSync is, SimSync is basically everyone plays the same game, the same household, at the same time, and courtesy is to play the sim you made and not your friends’ – but in practice you have access to every sim in the household. I like your ideas though, and I would support a multiplayer mod for Paralives, especially one as you describe. SimSync shows you multiplayer as a mod is possible.
Just a thought as it occurs to me – The Sims Mobile had a multiplayer feature where you could host and attend parties and people would come to the host’s house with their sim and there was a chat feature so you could talk to the other players. I would also support something like that if they did that in Paralives.
