Memories
May 18, 2020 at 4:23 pmThis is something that is unique and new and has never been done in any other life simulation game (aka Sims 4). As you know the family tree in the sims 4 is pretty awful if you ask me, it can broken relatively easy especially after 5+ generations. If you are a simulation player like me especially celebrating from birth to death, its only natural you form some kind of bond with your Parafolk.
So rather them just dying why no celebrate it, so in the sims 4 currently we have 6 different age groups, baby, toddler, children, young adult, adult and elder.
As you know in the sims 4 they have moodlets, I know in the sims as well they have wishes to pin, so I was thinking if a Parafolk reaches a milestone or an event in their life, I would like for the devs to be able to program or code in some way that we can select a life event as significant druing their teenagehood, let’s say you can select 3 pinned milestones or life events, so when they age up as adults you pick one of those 3 milestone or life events rather then just celebrating their birthday, if t actually has meaning behind
So if you keep repeating this process for each age group, you will hve 6 signficant events, so at the death of that parafolk, you can pick 2 of the most signficant milestones or life events are then marked as a hover over highlight on that family members picture on the family tree.
As we play along legacy and its been 5 months 7 generations in, you can pin point and say, hey I remember Grace, she did this milestone or this life event.
I think it will be really nice to walk down memory lane and rebond with the sims that were.
Even better yet, I would love have photo albums that we have for each family member. I don’t know, I just really want to get personal with my Parafolk and bond with them in a way that I can’t via sims 4. I really hope the team from Parafolk can help quench that thirst of mine.
Thanks for reading 🙂
