Making a dynasty and inheritance
Posted by klaradenrara on August 22, 2019 at 3:19 pmI would love to be able to create a “dynasty” so that everything your build up can be transferred to the remaining relatives .

I like this, I wish succession/inheritance rules can be implemented that is a little bit like what NRaas Mods (for The Sims 3) can do. The idea of having a “Last Will and Testament” might be good, too.

I love this idea – building a business (can be rabbit hole) from the ground up; can get notifications about competitors, hostile takeovers, emergency meetings, etc.). When the para passes, he can autonomously leave it to whomever he wishes. If he doesn’t leave it to the immediate family, they can go to city hall and fight the decision. Anything that adds drama to the game.

if wedding gowns can be a thing its can be passed down via female line

if you befriend someone in the world and they die you get a part of the money

For this purpose, it would be cool if the game keeps track of all the family members and we can see it in a family tree. Or when you hoover over a Para you can see the relationship your active Para has with the one. For example you see a Para walking in the world and you hoover your mouse over it and see : “Aunt” or “Second cousin twice removed”

Maybe we could have 3 layers of Family perks.
Layer 1: Family
Layer 2: Legacy
Layer 3: Dynasty
Kinda like the Tiny Living layered tiny house requirements/perks. Each one of the layers would give you positive/negative buffers, like in the Family layer you would’ve an warning telling you that having a smaller/secluded family can be dangerous to your family name and that the family might die if your only kid marries and adopts their partner name. etc etc etc haha
