  • How healthy is your para? (Tracking paras health and more)

Posted by cakeefeatured on February 15, 2020 at 4:17 am

I was thinking what if we could have a chart of a para’s lifetime health. So the graph would start as a child until they become an elder, tracking how their internal health has improved and how the physical health has improved as well. So for example as far as eating habits, if they eat at home and home cooked meals more that are balanced they’ll be in good health. But if they eat out a lot, eat junk food, or order takeout they could be in bad health or have a title saying “could be better” or “health could improve”. Based on the foods they eat, including exercise, etc.
Foods could cause the graph to fluctuate from good to bad and vice versa. It’d also include how many times your para has been sick throughout its lifetime, how many times they’ve been to the doctor as well. With that being said I was thinking what if different foods including takeout and snacks had different levels of nutrition points added to them when eaten by paras, that contributed to their health.

So here’s my ideas of what the graph could include:

    Food habits and changes
Overall health scaled from good/could use improvement/to bad
    Weight: average, obese, healthy, underweight,
How many times been to doctor
Number of times para has been sick
Exponential Graph showing how health from child to elder changed

If Anyone have more ideas of other things it could Include list them below!

The stuff makes me think of the “Private Praticive” Mod from the Sims 4. The only thing that the mod could improve on is realizing an overweight person is PREGANT..

That’s a great idea! It would be nice if the condition of their health bar could have certain consequences. For example low health would increase the chance of a Para dying at a younger age. Or a Para with high health would have more energy for a longer time or could walk faster as opposed to a Para with low health. Paras with low health would want to stay in bed longer and would have a harder time performing at school and work. Things like that. But it should be at random. Not all Paras will react the same. Chances of certain behavior just increases and decreases based on their health level. Also a Para should have the chance to better (or worsen) their health on a short term basis. For example, a Para with low health does not feel well to go to work. He/she can stay feeling this way or take some vitamins to temporarily feel better. The health bar will increase until the vitamins work out.

This is great! Expanding on this I’d love a lifetime stats page for your Para, including everything, similar to at the end of a Civ 5 game.

This could include graphs such as:

    • Wealth
    • Health
    • Number of relationships
    • Average relationship strength
    • Fame
    • Land Value
    • etc.

    And information such as:

    • Strongest [type] relationship, e.g Friendly, Romantic, Family, Bad.
    • Favourite meal
    • Most common/uncommon emotional state
    • Number of children/pets/family members or something of the sort
    • Lifetime positive/negative relationship count
    • Most positive/negative relationships at one point
    • etc.

    What do you think?

It could also somehow include dental hygiene, though I can understand that some people wouldnt want to bother with it

I like that idea! I think it would work really well for being part or even a para’s overall biography. I really like the idea of having positive and negative relationship count. To add to that listing the work history of the para of all jobs and volunteer jobs they have had including if they were fired or quit beside it, maybe that would affect the para’s work performance in the future or determine the outcome of what type of jobs they’ll be hired for next time.
