Thieves who can break into your house at night or when there are few inhabitants inside the house. The probability of it happening is proportional to the level of security of the house.

Security level: There may be elements such as windows and doors that have a security level (X), there will be different doors and windows with different security levels and more expensive. alarms for home. Higher security level = less probability of thieves or that they cannot enter your house if the security level is very high (animations of thieves forcing doors or windows).

Kleptomaniac trait: As in sims, being able to steal things from houses and places, but without waiting time between thefts.

Animations: When a thief is trying to enter your house through a door, window or roof, there is time to call the police services while this is happening and only if you realize it since they will be silent. When the police arrive at your house and capture them, it would be perfect to see how they take the thief in the patrol car, this also applies to an NPC or your own playable parafolk if they discover him stealing and someone observes him and calls the police.

I think thieving should be a skill instead of it being a trait. Being a kleptomaniac is more of a mental illness. So I rather not see it in the game. From my understanding of Kleptomaniac is that “they can’t help themselves” and I think they only steal small things or things which don’t have any value
