In Ts3 ( I’m not sure if I’m any other sims before 3) you were able to have a teen sim sneak out of their home and if they get caught, the parent grounded them for a certain amount of time. Also In Ts3 you were often randomly contacted for a free trip so around that time if you chose to go, your teen sim would be home alone and you could throw parties while your parents aren’t home. Id love to see more of this in paralives just because getting grounded for things like sneaking out, bad grades, being disrespectful, not coming back around curfew, etc was such a fun aspect of sims 3!

I agree these features were nice to have in the Sims and they made for more interesting and immersive gameplay. However, I’m excited to see how Paralives puts it’s own unique spin on the life simulation genre. I’d love to see new and inventive ways of making the characters come to life making the game feel new and refreshing in it’s own way. 🙂

I think it would be cool if ParaParents could ground kids for more than just the typical sneaking out and ditching school. It would be interesting if we could create a set of household rules and have different punishments if any of those rules are broken. I’d also like to see more punishments than just getting grounded. There were a lot of punishments I faced as a child, but I was never grounded. My parents never really did that with us for some reason, so I hope we could have a bit more variety in parenting in this game.

My play style is family oriented all the way so having different quirks and features for family players would be nice to have. Time outs, grounding, house restrictions. Something unique.

I’d like for parents to ground their children, maybe if they have phone they can take it away or computer, tablet, etc. for a duration. Then the children could try and take their things back once the parent left and get caught.
I agree with the others comments above I want more reasons for children to be grounded maybe: fighting with siblings, shoplifting, bad grades etc.

Love this idea, I was thinking the same thing! It would be cool if you could give the children/teens chores like taking out the trash, doing dishes etc. and depending on the traits the kids have they either do them and maybe get an allowance or some type of reward or they don’t and get a punishment maybe not grounding but their phone taken away or something similar?
