Drivable Cars for Paras?
Posted by cakeefeatured on September 4, 2019 at 6:08 amIf paras are able to drive cars in the open world, what type of cars would you like to see? Also if possible, would you like to be able to buy the cars in the buy mode catalog or should there be a designated lot where paras would go buy a car? Gameplay features?
Also I hope we are able to listen to radios/music in the cars when paras drive, as well as not having paras drive so fast like sims but a realistic driving speed or option to speed or not.

Unlike other Sims games where you get cars through the buy mode, I think there should be a Car Dealership, Bike Shop, and Boat stores. Maybe they can even test drive each car! 🙂

I personally think this is a great idea.
A dealership adds much more realism to simulation games! -

I loved it! More realistic car dealing, less one rabbit hole.
I also was thinking… The cars could have mechanical problems, and the paraling would have the option of take it to the car workshop or repair for self, if he has the attributes.

im sure we have all seen the little preview of cars in the posts and updates we have been getting about the game.
from what ive seen ..i honestly dont know how to feel about these cars -
Yep, this will make the Paras have more reason to go outside of their house. This has a similar spirit to the https://paraliveshub.com/forum/topic/groceries/ here.
I can see that it made a more realistic world. The idea to have certain gameplay mechanic in the store (Or business should I say?) will make each of them distinct from one another (Else they are all too similar?).

Added with the open-world in Paralives, it could make a dynamic neighborhood/town. Where the Paras have to interact with many businesses. Making businesses not merely addition but hold an essential in gameplay.
However, I am afraid that making a specific mechanism for each type of product will be too much? Here’s just some that I think could have its specific gameplay:
– Automotive (Maintenance and test drive?)
– Tattoo/stylist (Choose style), I saw an idea that the Paras could only have a limited amount of clothes early on.
– Vet/clinic/hospital (Examination, medication, check-up, vaccinization, etc)
– Restaurant/cafes/bakery etc. (Preparation, serving)
– many more? hahaWhile I think some business’s gameplay will inevitably similar to one another like grocery, florist, handicraft store, gadget store, etc that is still much to develop for.
This goes without saying that this different gameplay on each business will enrich the experience in Parlives. While nothing is being set yet, let’s just put the idea out 🙂

I agree I’d want them to be outside more doing things interacting with the town and environment rather than just everything happening at home from build/buy mode, because imo it makes a restricted gameplay….
