List of Common Jobs
I’d like to see part time jobs or freelance jobs for teenagers or adults looking to work for extra money

Varied careers could be nice, but we obviously wouldn’t be able to get them all from the start, nor would we have interactive careers directly either but it isn’t entirely excluded to come out later. But it’s nice nonetheless!
Part time jobs and freelance jobs could be good too 🙂

Yes, I like the idea of several different carreers. Both freelance and part time jobs, and interactive careers is on the list to.
I like to have my “parafolk” get a job that they really like, and probably could get good moodlets from, because their job is what they love to do, and will fit their interest and personality.
I also think it would not be too easy to make money, if their not work hard enough. 😀

I would love to see active firefighting career in the game I think it would add alot of fun to the game to have active careers. I think firefighter should be represented in more games. I’m super excited for paralives to come out and would love to see firefighting being a job, if it wasn’t an active career.

Personally, these are my ideas for careers in the base game (there are obviously not enough, but these are the most vital ones)
- Police Officer
- Businessman (Big Business)
All of these would be fully interactable if possible (a la Get to Work) except for Businessman, which would be pretty boring in my opinion. Also, Politician ought to have more in-depth election mechanics, even if it would just be a little campaigning, donations, and asking for votes (though corruption/bribery would be epic). Then there are jobs to be added later or to be put in expansion packs (of course, quite of few of these could also be base game jobs):
- Businessman (Small Business / Business Owner)
- Commercial Farmer
- Commercial Fisherman
- Lawyer / Judge
- Architect / Construction Worker / Interior Designer
- Game Developer / Programmer (Masse, if you read this, put an easter egg of yourself in it)
- Alchemist (Paranormal Expansion Pack)
Lastly are the minor jobs, requiring no or only a few skills like part-time jobs (though they might require relationships). Unlike the major jobs, these would mostly be unviewable or uninteractable, though quite a few would make interesting choices:
- Gardener (for a mansion)
- Taxi / Carpool / Ridesharing Driver
- Bartender (this could be a major job)

It would also be great to have dead-end jobs (no chance for promotion) unless the para goes to school/college (after work/weekends). I feel this would make the game a little more challenging.

It would be great to be able to enter careers at somewhere above the bottom based on work experience and/or skills.

It’d be cool to be able to make corporations that can be built in skyscrapers because as like (The sims) we get a lot of mom and pop shops (entrepreneurship based businesses) which I love. but for cities settings it’d be cool to be able to have tech companies, an architect firms, fashion design houses, magazine companies, design firms/studios, etc.
Other career ideas
Psychologist (paras could schedule sessions and go to appointments to vent)
Business consultant (gives paras who own businesses advice and help increase profits/net worth)
Magazine editor and chief (run a newspaper or magazine business)
Author career and Book publisher career (publish different paras books based on what is submitted by genre including description or summary)
Franchise career (owning more than three businesses with the same name)

Monarchy career would be amazing. Being king or queen, having a royal family, etc.
