birthday party options

So instead of a “standard” birthday party aka Sims-have birthday parties which is combined with a pool party, or an off-lot party- ie a bowling alley party. Or a roller staking rink birthday party?
2 options depending on the Birthday child’s parent’s relationship with the guest’s children’s parents- the option to decide whether the guests’ parents stay or not to stay.
3.-an organization-sp? system of how the party is organized? Ie: for a birthday/Pool party- kids get dropped off, change into swim gear, get into the pool. Depending on how long guests are comfortable being in the pool-they get out whenever they want too, wait for everyone else to get out, have food (pizza and cake), and the b-day child unwraps presents
4. having birthday parties on the day which isn’t the birthday child’s birthday

These are great ideas. I especially love the idea of having the birthday party on a different day than the birthday. Honestly it makes sense. When people are busy with school and work, it’s pretty impossible to always have your party on your actual birthday unless it falls on the weekend. When I was younger, we’d have the party on the Saturday after my birthday, so I hope we can see this in the game.

I like this idea. I think this can be achieved if there are separate settings for type of party, location, and occasion. That way, hypothetically, a Para could have a sleepover at their house for their birthday, a watch party at their friend’s house for the championship football game, a cookout at their grandparents’ house for their graduation, a family get-together at grandma’s house for the holidays, or a dinner party at a local restaurant for their retirement. There could also be no occasion at all; sometimes people have get-togethers just because. So many possibilities!
