With all due respect, I don’t think I like this. It kind of oversimplifies and commodifies real world cultures, it turns them into a novelty prize, and implies that Paralives is an America simulator that others all other cultures. I suspect this will open the real cultures v. fictional cultures debate (again). In that regard I don’t know where I fall, because I can’t see a good solution to the culture issue. I’m probably overreacting in any case because real people take home souvenirs in this fashion all the time, but my gut reaction is no. Keep thinking, I’m sorry for being so negative, I just happen to feel strongly on this issue.
