I agree with you there, but at the same time I think it’ll help them out tremendously to learn about different cultures and what makes them unique. I don’t think they’ll end up implementing events and traditions as they are in real life, but take inspiration from them to create their own. A lot of different cultures celebrate the new year, the spring/fall equinox and even the solstices, so maybe they’ll create their own “para-celebrations” based on the existing celebrations.
I’m looking forward to finding out what they do with this information! 😀
